Middle Boop at the Proms

One of the many Proms that caught my eye this year was the Oslo Philharmonic
not only playing mr Rachmaniov's 3rd piano concerto but also the first symphony of Sielius. It was a full house at the Royal Albert and deservedly so as they sounded amazing. Nikolai Lugansky, who played piano throughout the 3rd concerto was hugely talented I don't think he actually missed a note. Sibelius was the highlight, with the sound building up to extreme levels and crashing down with full force. There are still a few weeks left of the Proms and this one was definately a highlight.
