Anyone following general music world announcements this week will be well aware of the slow trickle of information released about Joanna Newsom's upcoming third album Have One On Me. Unpleasantly for J-New's haters (cat-strangling accusers, get out) it's going to be spread across an epic 3 CDs - which for fans of the wonderful, meandering Ys can only be a fantastic thing.
Her label Drag City has made a song from the new album, '81', available to stream on their site and it's a beautifully understated solo harp-and-voice piece that bodes very well indeed for the full release in February. More Celtic loveliness please.
The Publishers Club will be teaming up with the Inkygoodness Live Draw tour to put on a live screen-printing and networking event for illustrators and artists in the Manchester area.
